Marin officials gird for season of tidal flooding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Marin Independent Journal<\/em> highlights Marin County\u2019s preparations for an anticipated season of king tides, coastal flooding, and severe winter storms. As local officials work to protect vulnerable communities, homes, and infrastructure, Fire & Flood Emergency Services demonstrated its temporary flood barrier systems and high-volume pumping technology at the Marin County Fairgrounds on October 5, 2026. The demonstration provided local public safety and public works agencies with an opportunity to explore flood mitigation solutions as they coordinate emergency preparedness efforts ahead of the upcoming winter season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
